I hope the first of my shadbush will bloom this year. Naturally after I bought a few (very small) I began to recognize a few more around the yard; I've never seen any ripe berries on the library's fine specimens (the birds must keep close eyes on them) (they have large buds now) but their seeds must be getting around.
